Discussion
Diagnosis With Brief Discussion
- Diagnosis
- Pulmonary alveolar proteinosis
- Radiologic Findings
- Chest radiography shows bilateral alveolar consolidation or ground glass attenuation. HRCT show bilateral ground glass opacity with superimposed intra- and interlobular septal thickening, showing typical “crazy-paving” appearance.
Bronchoalveolar lavage was done. BAL fluid was grossly cloudy. Fluid material was strongly PAS-positive, consistent with pulmonary alveolar proteinosis.
