Discussion
0.7-4.5% of mediastinal tumors
Most are present at birth and are detected in the first 2 yrs
<5% of lymphangiomas are limited to the mediastinum itself
Anterior (28-37%) or superior (16-36%) mediastinum in adults
Usually well circumscribed and localized, but may appear to envelop mediastinal structures
