Discussion
Rare, 0.1 - 0.2 percent of the primary lung malignancies

Origin : minor salivary glands lining the tracheobronchial tree



Radiologic manifestations

Solitary nodule in 41 (70%) / consolidation in 16 (29%)

Location : segmental bronchus >> trachea or the main

bronchus



CT

- Sharply-marginated lobulated intraluminal mass
- Distal bronchial dilatation with mucoid impaction
- Punctate calcification (50%)
- Mild enhancement after contrast enhancement
- Rare metastasis to the regional lymph node
