- Tracheal Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma
- Radiologic Findings
- ON posteroanterior chest radiograph, lower tracheal lumen is obliterated. intraluminal mass obliterating midtracheal segment along left tracheal wall. CT scan shows segmental wall thickening and luminal narrowing in the mid-trachea. Pulmonary function test shows decreased FEV1 suggesting obstructive pattern.
Segmental tracheal resection was performed. Histopathology revealed adenoid cystic carcinoma of cribriform pattern, characterized by hyaline globules and surrounding small monotonous cells.
