A woman in 50s with Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)
Radiologic Findings
Initial chest radiograph was obtained three days after the patient’s symptoms onset.
Chest CT was obtained 7 days after symptoms onset.
Initial chest radiograph is normal (not shown). Follow-up chest radiograph (Figure 1) obtained 7 days after admission shows ground glass opacities in left lower lung zone. Thin-section CT images (Figure 2-4) on the same day as (Figure 1) show patchy areas of ground glass opacity with crazy paving appearance in both lungs, with peripheral predominance. Also note patchy ground glass opacities with peribronchial distribution (arrows in Figure 3) in both upper lobes.
Brief Review
Treatment: Lopinavir/ritonavir
Prognosis: She is currently hospitalized in stable.
