Solitary pulmonary nodule (<2cm) - lobulated contour, inhomogeneous & significant CE

No satellite nodule

No mediastinal LAP

No pleural effusion

Lab findings

eosinophilia(>500 cells/mm3)

pleural fluid

eosinophilia, low sugar level, low pH, high protein and LDH levels

sputum exam, ELISA

Radiology

Normal (20%)

Pulmonary lesions - parenchymal opacity, cystic lesion; thin walled ring shadow, crescent-shaped or oval opacity, single or multiple nodule, linear opacity (burrow tract),
Pleural lesions, effusion, thickening, hydropneumothorax
